I was recently thinking about upgrading from 8 gb of ram to 16 gb. Right now i have the G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory set. I was wondering whether i should buy another one of those or if i should buy a whole new 16 gb set. My motherboard is the Gigabyte GA-B85M-DS3H Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard and it has 4 ram slots. If i could get a response i would really appreciate it.

Best bet would be a 16GB set in 2x8GB, there's no guarantees in mixing DRAM, even if you get an identical set of the same model - the forums are full of folks trying that and getting failures.
