I have recently begun to consider upgrading the monitor for my PC. Since I have not purchased a new monitor in almost half a decade, I thought it might be a good idea to get some good advice from people who actually know things.
My current monitor is a Dell SX2210 21.5 inch display with a native resolution of 1920x1080.
I’d be open to a monitor that was somewhat larger, but not significantly so. I still need room for speakers on either side.
It is also important to me that I be able to run games at my monitor’s native resolution. If that means I can’t go higher than 1440p, or even that I should stick with 1080p, then so be it.
My pc has an i7-5820K processor, 16gb of ram, and GTX 780 3gb GPU.
As far as pricing, I’d like to stay under $300, if possible. But there may be a bit of flexibility.
