how to get help in windows 10 running Office 2000

The program itself runs and operates fine, with the exception of using the spell check feature in Word. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling program twice without changing this issue. Is there a possible download or patch to fix this? According to Microsoft Help, downloading the MDAC should've fixed this. Not in this instance.

Have you checked to see if spell check is active? Likewise you can go through this and this.

If we're going to hunch on a corruption in OS then you can try a repair install of windows 10 and see if this alleviates the issue.

When trying to use spell check, these are the two error messages I receive:
Word cannot find the spelling file MSSpell3.dll or mssp232.dll for.
Word cannot find the grammar file msgr??32.dll for
Spell check is working in the sense that it tries to check document, but somehow these files are not being read by the program. If I look in Explorer, I can see the files are there though. I did not try the Windows 10 repair, but did try the other two you suggested. Neither worked.

Check the installed files (for size) against the files on the Install Disk. If they match, my guess is that it was a bad install. Win 10 has problems with installing and updating.
