Sound playing through both headphones and speakers

When I have the speakers selected as the default device I get audio from both my headphones and speakers. When I have the speakers selected as the default device there's no audio.

Hi,

Have you tied uninstalling/reinstalling the sound card driver?
- Go to Device Manager and uninstall the sound card driver.
- Once uninstalled reboot your laptop and it should reinstall the driver automatically.
- If it doesn't install go to the manufacturers site and install the latest sound driver.
- Reboot your PC once installed then test it again.
