VGA and HDMI cables both not working - shown 'No Signal' message on TV.

I just bought a new system today and it did't ship with the monitor due to company messing up so only option is to hook up to TV, my TV only has slots for HDMI and VGA so I tried both and both are giving me only 'no signal' message. I have no spare monitor this is my only option and I'm unable to get up any picture from my computer since unpacking it.

CPU: Intel Core i7 6700K
Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 2GB
Motherboard: Asus Z170-K

Are you connecting the tv to the card and not the motherboard?
