Shutdown Button doesn't do anything on W10

The Shutdown button, as well as Restart and Hibernate buttons on my Windows 10, doesnt do anything when i click them, and its being like that for a couple of days now. So when i want to turn off my computer, i need to hold the power button until it shuts down. Does anyone have any idea of what could be happening?

Go to Control Panel, Power Options, Change plan settings, Change advanced power settings,
Power Buttons and lid.

Change them to what you want. There is a Do Nothing listed.

The reason that I mention something as basic as this is that the last update changed the Power settings on my personal PC.
