I recently built a 'stealth pc' inside an old Xbox case, is there a better card than the 750 ti for my needs?

The build is in the linked youtube video, I am just wondering if I could have used a better GPU, or any other components for that matter.

Clearly the CPU was chosen for a budget build, should I have gone with a different one?

Also the GPU seems to me to be a good bet, could I have got anything better that would still have fit and worked with a small PSU?

I'm not a fan of the GTX 750 Ti. The GTX 950 is a nice upgrade and a much more capable gaming card.

While there are better cards than the 750ti the 750ti is the best card you can get with a low profile form factor.
