I recently got a new monitor, I have put my new monitor and my old monitor side by side but I am having some issues, my new monitor is an AOC monitor and my old one is some crappy Samsung monitor, my problem is that Windows 8.1 is identifying my AOC monitor as the Samsung monitor, basically when I click identify it shows that my AOC monitor is "1" and the Samsung is "2", this is correct however the display reads "1.SA300/SA350" and "2. AOC 2460G5" which is not correct.

I have had to unplug the old Samsung monitor because it wont allow me to use 144 Hz on my new monitor. Can someone please help me?
