Hello lads and ladies,

I have a spare £530/$790 Dollars and want to upgrade one of my monitors. I don't want to waste my cash and thought i would ask the real monitor experts some questions :)

My first question is for the people with previous 1440p gaming experience. Is it noticeably different in games such as Battlefront, Counterstrike and League of Legends?. I get a solid 200-400 fps in CS and LoL at max settings with my gtx 770/i5 oc rig.]

What are the main factors which are enhanced going from 1080p to 1440p?

Will i see a significantly larger amount of stress on my system and have a substantial fps deficit?

Can i have my main screen 1440p 144hz and my second one 1080p 60hz?

Thanks :D

The colors are like a night and day difference in the 2 resolutions and esp the hz jump. And yes you can do that set up like that. Started at 1080 60 hz and went 1440 60hz ips and loved it. So much more can be on screen, the colors and fullnesstyles were amazing. Then stepped up to 1440 144 hz and won't go back. G sync with it is a plus too. And yes you will take about a 50% loss in fps bc 1440 is almost doubled in pixels your card has to render. And 2gb of vram won't cut it these days either.
