I was an idiot and tried to overclock my monitor, but didn't do it right and my monitor now always says "input not supported" when booting. So, I need to reinstall windows.

How do I nuke everything on my HDD so that I can put a clean install of windows 10 on it?

Windows does this for you. Assuming you are using windows 10, go to settings, update and security, recovery and reset. It will give you an option to remove everything. Click that. It will re-format the drive and reinstall windows.

The thing was, I couldn't get into windows.

I got through it - I just decided to reinstall windows completely, it let me format the drive when setting where to install Windows to. I didn't lose too much, I just built the thing 3 days ago.
