Hello, I got a new monitor and I have Windows 10 on my computer. I've got a Nvidia 970 graphics card. With the new monitor, Windows will do the initial boot and then after boot the monitor will cease to get any signal from the system.

I tried installing Ubuntu on the machine and the same thing happened when the initial boot finished when going into the installation.

I switched to an old monitor for Windows and it worked just fine. Any idea what the issue with the new monitor is?

Is it possible to pass on your full systems specs inclusive of your monitors? Have you tried connecting both your monitors to your GTX970 and seeing if they both receive signals. We would benefit alot to learn the method of connectivity to your monitor(s).

Do you have the latest graphics card drivers installed on your system?
