Windows 10 starts up to this screen and never shows desktop?

My mother-in-law got a new laptop for Christmas and when she was here I set it up for her and everything was working fine. She was on it today and she said she "did something" and this screen came up and she couldn't figure out how to get anywhere from there. After about an hour and a half on the phone I walked her through getting to Teamviewer so I could remote connect (she lives 3 hours away). That screen is what comes up after a restart and what comes up when you press the Windows key or start button. I was able to show her how to navigate from there but I could not find out how to get to the desktop or for it to show the normal Windows 10. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is there a shortcut or something she might have hit on accident that switches to tablet mode?

The quickest way that can MAYBE be accidentally triggered is the toggle in the notification menu.
