Pc not recognizing keyboard and mouse at windows log in screen

After I installed the z170k support DVD to my computer my pc restarted and whenever it gets to the login screen it turns off both my mouse and keyboard. I can enter the bios just fine and everything the problem occurs when it loads into the login screen. Any help would be appreciated.Also when I go to advanced settings>Boot>MSC module and change the option from Uefi and legacy to just legacy I get sent back into the bios.

You need to enable legacy mode on the usb ports being used for them and not legacy on boot
