Headset Mic Won't Work

I have a GameZero headset i can't talk to anyone. The headset has a feature where when you flip the mic up it mutes, when i flip it up i hear a fuzzy sound and when i flip it back down it stops. Im new to using headsets on a PC. Please help

Hi,

Do try checking the recording device settings if it's set as the default mic.
- Right click on the speaker icon and select Recording Devices.
- If your headphone microphone is listed, right click on it and select Set Default.
- Click Apply and OK and test it again.

If these doesn't work try to uninstall/reinstall the sound card driver first.
- Go to device Manager and uninstall the sound card driver.
- Reboot your PC and it should reinstall the driver automatically.
- If it doesn't reinstall, download and install the latest driver from the manufacturer site.
- Test your microphone again after installing the latest drive.
