My 24" Asus VX248 does not show full display on 1080p. The right side of the screen is black and you can't see the full left s

I have an Asus VX248 and when I have it on high resolution (1080) the right have of the screen I black and the left have of the display is cut off. For example when someone is typing on the tab bar on top you cannot see what they are typing. When I have it on low resolution it is perfectly fine. The monitor does state that it supports 1080p. Fix please?

Sounds like it might have something to do with how your monitor scales that resolution
