Make .bat Files Run as Programs Instead of Open with Notepad

Hello.

I have an issue. I was trying to get .bat files to open as notepad files when double-clicked instead of them automatically running. However when changing the default program to do this, it made it so other programs that point to batch files to run them only open them instead. Is there an easy way to revert this? If there is a video that would be even better.

Right click and click run.

I knew that I could do that but if I call another batch file, or download a program that does so it simply opens the file in notepad instead of running it like it is supposed to. Do you know of a way to revert the file association of .bat files?
