Computer not accepting compatible RAM upgrade.

I own an HP p7-1154 running DDR3 1333 RAM. The motherboard specs (located here: http://www.findlaptopdriver.com/pegatron-2acd-corporation-motherboard-1-01-specs/ ) say it supports 4 * 240-pin DDR3 DIMM slots Supports Dual Channel DDR3 1866/1600/1333/ MHz non-ECC, un-buffered memory (Max 16GB). I got two 4GB sticks of Samsung m393b5273dh0-ck0 which is 1600. The computer is not taking them. No post just a repeating long beep. Any advice? Thanks Pete

Have you tried running with each of the 4GB sticks separately in different slots to see if/which are faulty? Are you running a 32 or 64 bit system? Three beeps are a sign for bad RAM.
