No signal, hooking up Tv with HDMI

Ive been trying to connect a tv with Hdmi, initially nothing was happening. I checked and double checked that i was on the right input setting. I then started to mess with the resolution settings for the Tv from the computer as I was still getting no signal/black screen. Then i right clicked on the desktop, Graphical options > input > digital.

Now my issue is that whenever the computer detects the tv it goes black as well as the tv....Ive appeared to have fiddled with it to much. I figured this should have been a simple fix.

Hi,

When you connect your TV to your PC press the Windows key + P at the same time and select either Duplicate or Extended Display. If these doesn't work try to uninstall/reinstall the graphics card driver first then try it again.
