Monitor stuck in power saving mode

My LG monitor got stuck in powersaving mode after putting a new video card in. I tried pulling out the 2 sticks of ram i have and put them on the 2 extra slots, but it still isn't picking anything . First it started giving me errors by beeping, but I already fixed that, now I 'm stuck with this. Pc boots up fine, all fans spinning, just the damn monitor stuck in powersaving mode. Help!

Yes, i already tried that. Idk if this is important, but my previous card has the same dvi slot type as this new one, same number of holes and all, but my cable only worked on my previous card even whilst lacking the pins

Sounds like you need a new cable that fits better.

Can you post images of the cable used, and the DVI ports on both GPU's?
