GTX 770 Worth Upgrading?

Do you guys think it's worth upgrading my 770? I was debating on getting a gtx 980 or a R9 390X. Do you think it would be worth upgrading or should I wait a little longer? I am also gaming on 1080p

i am confused. initially, you were planning on upgrading to a GTX 980, but now you're talking about the 770? why not just go for the more powerful card?

the "need" comes from you. do you need a better 1080p gaming experience?

the 390x is one tier lower, and you can get more performance out of the 980
