http://au.pcpartpicker.com/p/ZKCqGX $828

This is with a gtx 960 that is actually quite competent at graphics. $9 difference theres no reason to get DDR3. You can always add another 8gb stick of RAM if you need it.

if you need an o/s get win10 full version home

Also consider getting a a 250gb samsung SSD for o/s and games. they are $120. Make your system much faster & responsive

The motherboard you selected doesn't have front USB 3.0 headers so that might be a problem with cases that use them (almost all cases nowadays do). The GPU could also be a little improved.

A mobo with USB 3.0 headers, 8GBs of DDR4 RAM and a GTX 950 - These should suffice your needs.

Save up more and get a better video card, preferably the gtx 960. Its what i recommend as minimum. A decent machine costs money.
750ti is woeful in gta 5. Dont expect max settings on a 960 either.

Since the build is mainly for minecraft, will the i3 and 750ti be sufficient? I am not to concerned about being able to play gta v. Or is the gtx 960 recommended for mincraft?

Minecraft also happens to be a CPU hog when lots of objects are use. More so than say a regular game title GTA 5 is also a CPU hog.
Ideally you want to go with an i5 and a 960.
Shit costs money. Just a few $100 more and youre laughing with a good, competent system.
