Hello!

I've been using windows 8.1 for some time and decided to upgrade to Windows 10.

But everytime i try to download torrents ( Legal torrents ) i get a blue screen, telling me that they are getting some information and such.

And it says: page_fault_in_nonpaged_area

I've tested lots of fixes and such, but nothing works.
I've read that RAM can cause that error. But my RAM works fine. Tested with all sticks one by one. Got DDR4 16GB Corsair RAM with Intel i7 5820k CPU with the ASUS x99 Deluxe Mobo.
So it's pretty new. Did some mem tests and stuff to. No hardware fails!

The blue screen only shows after some time downloading from Utorrent and the PC restarts and works like a charm again. Never happens when doing something else.

Thanks for reading, and thanks in advance! <3

you would have to provide the minidump from c:\windows\minidump directory to get a good answer for this problem. you can put it on a server like microsoft onedrive then share it and post a link.

otherwise, most people that get a bugcheck while downloading a torrent are hitting a bug in their ethernet driver. (either wired or wireless) if this is the case all you need to do is updte the driver from your motherboard vendor and reboot.

that motherboard has a built in wifi and a ethernet so you will want to update both drivers.

(be sure to update all the drivers and the BIOS if is out of date or the driver update requires a BIOS update)

i got this from Microsoft MSDN site

https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/hardware/ff559023(v=vs.85).aspx

Cause

Bug check 0x50 usually occurs after the installation of faulty hardware or in the event of failure of installed hardware (usually related to defective RAM, be it main memory, L2 RAM cache, or video RAM).
Another common cause is the installation of a faulty system service.
Antivirus software can also trigger this error, as can a corrupted NTFS volume.
Resolution

Resolving a faulty hardware problem: If hardware has been added to the system recently, remove it to see if the error recurs. If existing hardware has failed, remove or replace the faulty component. You should run hardware diagnostics supplied by the system manufacturer. For details on these procedures, see the owner's manual for your computer.
Resolving a faulty system service problem: Disable the service and confirm that this resolves the error. If so, contact the manufacturer of the system service about a possible update. If the error occurs during system startup, restart your computer, and press F8 at the character-mode menu that displays the operating system choices. At the resulting Windows Advanced Options menu, choose the Last Known Good Configuration option. This option is most effective when only one driver or service is added at a time.
Resolving an antivirus software problem: Disable the program and confirm that this resolves the error. If it does, contact the manufacturer of the program about a possible update.
Resolving a corrupted NTFS volume problem: Run Chkdsk /f /r to detect and repair disk errors. You must restart the system before the disk scan begins on a system partition. If the hard disk is SCSI, check for problems between the SCSI controller and the disk.
Finally, check the System Log in Event Viewer for additional error messages that might help pinpoint the device or driver that is causing the error. Disabling memory caching of the BIOS might also resolve it.

Thanks you both for answers.

But i think i'll have 2 OS on my system. Win 7 and Win 10.

Cause on win 7 i can download whatever i want without crash..

I think it's win 10 thats messing with my personal stuff... I also tried to reinstall a fresh copy of win 10 too.
