Need help buying a monitor

I'm looking for a new monitor, but I'm a bit overwhelmed with all the options. I just bought this PC and wanted to know if it can run 2560x1440. I think I want to go for an IPS screen and 144hz.. Suggestions welcome.

This could definitely achieve 2560x1440. What would be your price limit for your monitor?
