My laptop (Windows 10) won't play sound - I tried speakers and headphones. What do I do?

I have Razer Kraken 7.1 headphones that work on other devices, but not my laptop. So then I tried to play sound from my speakers (Beats Audio - it was built into the laptop), but that didn't work either.

Update: The speakers now work, but my headphones are still silent.

Can you please pass on your laptop's make and model number? All your chipset and device drivers are up to date? Have you tried installing the latest Razer Synapse app from here? Is the device being detected in Device Manager?

I somehow solved it. I was in the audio settings and all I did was double click the headphones and they worked. Must have been a bug. Sorry!
