GTX 970 low scores in benchmarks

Current settings during benchmark:
Core Voltage +87
Power Limit +110%
Core Clock +170
Memory Clock +500
Fan Speed 100%

If I go any further my screen suddenly turns into grey/green during gameplay or msi kombustor, but I haven't experienced these 'artifacts' yet.

i5 4690k 4.2GHz OC
MSI GTX 970
ASUS Z97-A
520W SEASONIC
V10 COOLERMASTER

Is this because I have a 1080p@60hz monitor or just a bad chip?
PS: Very optimized PC. Not sure what's up with frequent stutters and low score.
