"Your PC has ran into a problem and needs to restart" on upgrade PC

For Christmas, I decided to upgrade my computer that I built four years ago on a budget. I ended up swapping my ASUS motherboard out for a Gigabyte board and my AMD Processor for an Intel. I also upgraded to a GTX970. Unfortunately, after installing all the new parts, I'm getting an error that says "Your PC ran into a problem and needs to restart" before immediately shutting down. I've looked up solutions to this error, but none of them are working for one simple reason: my PC isn't able to boot completely before getting the error message. I can't reinstall windows or anything like that simply because it's barely even getting past the logging into windows screen. Please help me, I'm freaking out.
