Hi

I only wish to backup one drive as an image file on my PC system but there's no option to choose which drives (I don't want to backup my D drive).

, I'm aware there's 3rd party software to do this but am just trying it with the default Windows 10 software.

Any ideas?

It's a bit of trouble but it should work. Power down, unplug the power cable from the D: drive, power up again, do the backup, power down, reconnect the D: power cable, and power up again.

EZSwap has a drive tray that will make it a little less painless because you won't have to open the case to power the D: drive up or down. You should still power down and up but all you would have to do is unplug the drive from its tray and plug it back in.
