So I'm trying to build a decent gaming PC for my cousin who isn't the most hardcore of gamers but i do want her to have some power. Now the budget for this PC is $500 for the components itself. Now I know some of the components I will link below can be found on other websites cheaper I just need to know if it's a good build.

Motherboard: http://goo.gl/AlFsni
CPU: http://goo.gl/Q14mDZ
GPU: http://goo.gl/FrOIAb
Case: http://goo.gl/n6wouV
PSU: http://goo.gl/9HPAEf
HDD: http://goo.gl/bl6QaY
RAM: http://goo.gl/YjXeOS

Thanks in advance for any opinions or recommendations.

Note: This is my first time posting and I'm new here so if I did anything wrong just let me know.

That PSU is tier 4 and should be avoided. This one is much better: https://jet.com/product/detail/2055950ca2e044e9881e3b38212b51e0?jcmp=pla:ggl:cwin_electronics_a3:electronics_accessories_computer_components_storage_devices_a3_other%3Cimg%20data-src= it is tier 2 and is on sale at $30.

Edit: it just sold out. Here's another alternative also by EVGA: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817438012 this one is tier 3

I did come across that one actually. I'm surprised I didn't pick that one for such small a difference. Thanks for the help any other opinions? Do you think it's a decent build?

Thanks for the build nature I'll go through each part and compare with the one I picked. And are you sure the motherboard I picked doesn't have 3.0? I'm pretty sure that's why I picked it.

Whoops my bad i misread the specifications. Keep the original motherboard you chose. But other than that you're all set.

Alright perfect, thanks for everything I'm going to sleep for now and tomorrow I'll update this with the new component list probably including some fans and such.

Pretty similar to your original build, but with an i5, a quality PSU, and a White/black theme at the same price. Yes it does have PCIe 3.0 x16 slot, does it matter? not really.
