My Mobo doesn't detect my second HDD in bios or in OS. I have a SSD running at the moment completely fine, but when I try to load a second drive onto the sata ports it spins up but doesn't send any data. I've tried each of the sata ports and my SSD runs on all of them and both cables, so I'm relatively sure that its not a cable or port malfunction. Also I know that both SSD and HDD work completely fine in other configurations because they still both work in my Toshiba Satellite l750, this config change was to move my SSD and HDD into desktop casing.

Mobo: Gigabyte GA-B85M-D3H rev. 2.0
Bios version: FD
SSD: Corsair Force 120gb SSD
HDD: Seagate Momentus 1TB mod: ST1000LM024
Core: Intel i5-4590 3.30GHz

Any and all help is welcome :)
And if anyone needs more info, Its easily accessible to me.
Thanks

Hey there, sonikfyre.

First backup any important data which you might have on that drive, as you can access it via a different computer. After that I'd recommend that you download the HDD manufacturer's diagnostics tool and run the tests on the drive, just to make sure that everything's OK with it.
As for the computer that doesn't detect it, try resetting or updating its BIOS/UEFI, to see if that fixes things up.

Hope that helps. Please let me know how everything goes.
