How to reinstall windows 10 on ssd

I want to install windows 10 on my ssd. I know to do this I have to wipe my hdd with windows already installed on it. If I were to reinstall windows 10 on my ssd and erase my hdd would everything on my ssd be erased too?

Why do you think you need to clear the hard disk? Once the SSD has a running Windows 10 system, delete all the Windows files from the hard disk and either keep it as a backup of your personal files or let it run alongside the SSD as the data drive.
