How do I enable G Sync on my XB270HA?

So I ordered a new monitor over the weekend and got it on Sunday and I have to say it's a really nice monitor. The only issue I currently have is that I can't get G Sync to work at the moment.

I downloaded the nVidia Pendulum demo to give it a test and at the top left it has three settings. V Sync On, No V Sync and G Sync On. Whenever I try and click G Sync On it switches immediately back to V Sync Off.

Is there a way that I have to manually set G Sync on?

Found the answer on another site which worked perfectly for me!

All I needed to do was unplug the display port cable and plug it back in... It really is the simple things that are forgotten the most....
