Ripple Effect Up My Monitor While Playing The Forest

How's it goin guys! So today I downloaded The Forest off steam and I noticed that I keep getting these ripples or waves up my screen whenever I move my characters field of view around. It's not screen tearing because I know what that looks like. My monitor is maybe 3 months old at most, It is an ASUS VG248QE. I also have a newer GPU and CPU which are both about the same age of 3-4 months old. They are a EVGA GeForce GTX 970 and a Intel i7 4790k. This is the only game I have seen this happen on. Is this bad for my system or monitor, or can i just play the game and tough it out by having the ripples up the screen? Thank you!

I FOUND THE ULTIMATE SOLUTION .....TRY THIS-----------------


Go to nvidia control panel----change resoulution----create custom resolution----just change progressive to interlaced----that's it
