cpu + gpu bottleneck help

Hello guys, was just wondering how bad mine old q9550 2.83ghz slowing mine gtx 770 oc,
and would new i3 6100 be enough to max that gpu?

Bottleneck would be decently bad unless you overclocked to around 3.4-3.8Ghz. I3 would definitely eliminate the bottleneck entirely.

thx that makes it clear, i have one of best that time motherboards p5e3 premium, i guess i should try overclock at stock mines temps are 34 idle, 45-50 full i guess i could push it bit more hotter ?

Thermal spec is 71.4 so try not to go much higher then mid 60's.
