I'm looking for a 144z monitor to play CS:GO on but at a budget, I want the cheapest available option whilst still maintaining good resolution and the golden 144hz. I can't decide if I want a 1080p monitor or 1440p (either way I want a 24 inch size), what are the advantages/disadvantages? Any response is greatly appreciated and thank you.

Ok, I am in England though, is that available in the UK as it is listed in USD, I do have a gtx 970, you say it will be fine for it? It will be dual monitor but not 2 of these, 1 of these and a 24 inch benq 60hz 1080p, will it all work?

Thing is, when i search for that monitor the two of you suggested it comes up with this price
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Asus-VG248QE-24-inch-LED-Monitor/dp/B00B19T7QC
That is around $350 or $400 but the site he linked was only $240, how can i get a UK version that costs $240?

It's probably going to cost you a bit more in the UK.

I did vote the Asus in your link above since it was the 2nd cheapest there. AOC aren't bad monitors i've heard good things about them. For that particular monitor it seems like it has everything Asus has except for headphone jack.

To do 144Hz though you'll need to use Displayport. DVI can do upto 120Hz. HDMI wont do it max 60Hz.
