Hi,
I am doing my upgrades this year and am looking for a 27 inch monitor for my gaming Setup. I have been looking at two particular monitors so far and was wandering which is better.

Now the ROG has G-sync and the other Freesync. They are both 144hz 2560 x 1440 which I do want. The biggest thing that I do not understand is the little features or even the type of displays(TN / ISP).

Currently my processor is the I7 4790K and I am running a GTX 970. I am planning to SLI with two 970's shortly after buying the monitor.

So my question to all of you, which monitor is better? Is G-sync really that much better then Freesync? Also if you have any other suggestions on monitors feel free to post them, I am looking for a 27 inch - 144hz - 2560 x 1440p monitor.

Solution
If you have nVidia's GPUs, GSync is the only one for you.
FreeSync is only for AMD's GPUs.

If you plan to use FreeSync, you must replace your current GTX970 with AMD GPUs e.g. R9 390.

GTX970s on SLI is nice, looking at that you have already one.
