Green vertical Line on samsung monitor

Hi guys,

I have green vertical line on my samsung led monitor . Sometimes it disappears like after 30 minutes. Sometimes it stays always . It doesn't appear when i take screenshots . Is the problem with monitor or it is just a driver issue/loose cable ? . Warranty is over for the monitor also

it might be a broken cable, it might be your graphics card, but its most likely to be your monitor.
The pixels might be damaged, something like that. try connecting a different monitor to your pc, it might work just fine.

To agree with Zombysz , try a different video cable/and or ports if it has more. If the problem persists its most likely the monitor.

I have read somewhere that if the line moves when we change resolution then it is graphic card problem. Is it right?

Ok test. Turn off your pc leaving the monitor on when you have the green line. If the line is still there its either monitor or cable.
