BenQ XL2420T 3d vision wont turn off

So I have had my monitor for years now and my windows 10 recently did some updates and then I noticed my 3d green light on the bottom right of my monitor was on. I have already tried unchecking the stereoscopic 3d in nvidia control panel, but the light continues to stay on. Any help?

My monitor is this BenQ XL2420T

Nvidia Control Panel cannot control your monitor's hardware settings. The "3D Vision" by Nvidia is not the same as the 3D built in to your monitor. They are two separate things.

Use your monitor's on-screen setup menu (using the buttons on the monitor) to turn off the monitor's built-in 3D capability. Or just leave it if the picture looks okay as it is.
