Help Needed with a monitor choice

Hi, everyone I've decided to look into getting a 21:9 monitor and well I'm kinda at a crossroads of sorts. My question is would I be missing out if I went for a 1080p 21:9 like the benq one or acer model over the 1440p models? Also would the performance be good if I went with the 1440p acer model and had say the amd fury x?

21:9 with 1080p would kinda be a waste in my opinion, i'd definitely go for 1440p
best and most affordable would no doubts be the: LG 34UM95
but you need a strong gpu.
