Disable display driver update for nVidia 210

My pc is running on intel pentium E5300 and gtx 210. I am not much of a gamer and play only less graphics intensive games. I was running the latest drivers from nvidia and most of the game i used to play flawlessly were lagging even on lowest settings to i reverted back to 296.10 version of drivers and the frame rate were great. But windows 10 keeps on updating the drivers. Please help me to disable display driver auto update.

You MUST use the 342 branch while on Windows 10. Do NOT use the 296.10.

The lag you experience is likely due to settings you have enabled rather than driver incompatibility.

GTX 210 is not suported by the latest drivers and so the frame rate is bad. The games are not playable. but after installation of old drivers games works great. never mind. I am goning to buy a new pc anyway

Of course it's not supported by the latest general driver (~360), you need the driver at http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/94794/en-us . Follow the clean install instructions in the sticky on this sub-forum.
