Hey Everyone,

I'm currently looking for a good gaming monitor that I can use for watching movies and TV Shows as well. Looking for anything from 24-27 inches. I only game on weekends but I'll be using it for movies and watching series on a daily basis. I would like something with at least a 120Hz Refresh Rate.

I found a few below and I'm leaning more towards the LG because of the superior color. Willing to spend $400 and below. Looking for preferably a 27 Inch sine my current one is a 23 and I feel like it's not enough when watching movies.

Since you only play in weekends, do you have a good enough rig to run 144 hz ? i mean since you are more of a casual player I would assume you did not spend a lot on your computer.

Since you want to watch movie i assume also you are looking for an ips panel ?

Also does it have to be wall mountable ? (vesa mount) ?

That asus looks good. I was also looking at this BenQ but that looks like it's strictly for games. I can get that for $360 locally.

Don't really care about the mounting and the panels don't really matter as well. I know IPS has better color but I'm not sure if they have 144Hz monitor in IPS. I only really have time to play on the weekends but I'll play for like 7 hours and Friday and another 8 or so on Saturday so I'll be staring for a long time. I currently have a MSI Gaming N760 but will either upgrade with another card to SLI or just get a better card in a few months.
