How would I go about fixing the C: and D: Drives?

Solution
after moving unnecessary files to another partition (like Gingerbread said) the most important thing is to change the temp files that's so important because programs like IDM and Adobe products take a lot of temp on your drive you could change the system temporary files this way:
1-Goto search box and type Variable Environment
2-Select Edit environment variable for your account
3-chose TEMP and click EDIT
4-Set the variable value anywhere you want
5-do the same with TMP
6-click OK
that way your entire TEMP locations would change yo another partition
