HP laser jet 4200 printer

I have this Laser Jet 4200 which has a parallel port. I had a PCI card installed so I could connect to my newer Dell COmputer. After I upgraded to Windows 10, the printer keeps losing the connection to the computer. I installed the latest drivers form the HP support website. If I am lucky after 10 installs and reinstalls, I can get it to print a test page. If I reboot I lose the connection.

Any suggestions Please!!

Did you also install the proper drivers for the PCI card when you upgraded to Windows 10?

Yes, there is not an available upgrade other than what I have.

Can you provide the information for the PCI card (manufacturer and model)? It's possible that the PCI card won't work with Windows 10.

You may want to consider purchasing a print server with parallel port.
