Hi, all! Looking for some advice on a rig I'm pricing. I've got a general idea of what I want, listed below, but I'm interested in recommendations for the motherboard. I've got a Cooler Master 690II Case and a Themaltake 850W PSU which I'd like to use with the new build. Here's what I'm thinking:
One possible limitation I have are my monitors, which are good Viewsonic IPS screens but only have DVI connections. I have two of them and the GTX 980 only has one DVI output so I guess I'll need to buy DP to DVI adapters, though I don't know if that would affect visual quality or performance. Eager to hear your thoughts, and thanks!

I originally had a pair of Samsung 850 EVO SSDs in RAID 0 but I changed that to the Samsung 950 Pro M.2 because it's half the cost of the pair and better performance, plus I already have an 850 512GB for data so I'm OK on that front for now. Would the 5820k have an issue with PCI lanes with the M.2 in this build, or perhaps if I decide to add another GPU in the future?

It's linked in the OP. I already own it (anything in the build without a price I already own). It's been solid so far.

Just saying, the Amazon product page is not actual information, but you already own it so oh well.

I still say you should do a 5820k. More cores/threads, plus more PCI-E lanes.
