I'm working on a new first time build. I'm building this PC to prepare for VR, I currently have an Oculus Rift on preorder. That being said though I like having power and want to be able to run almost any game out currently or coming out in the relative future at ultra settings. Since this is my first time building a PC I would like some input before I jump in. Here is the parts list I have put together: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/hswrTW What would you guys do differently, where could I save some money, etc. Anything will be appreciated. Thanks!

Build looks pretty good and will handle VR well. There will be some discussion of the 6700K vs a 5820K but there are points on both sides.

Couple of small things, I would bump up your ram to between 2666 to 3000. As well, spend a little more and get a hybrid HDD. Last, unless you currently have it, the 840 EVO is an old model, current model is the 850 EVO.
