I have purchased a new Dell S2415H monitor and I like the colors and look of the screen but it has one dead/stuck pixel.
This pixel is green on a black background and black on a blue background but looks normal with another colors (white, green, red, yellow)
Another issue with the monitor is IPS glow and/or backlight bleed on the bottom edge of the monitor. please check the photo, is this considered acceptable?

The S-series doesn't have their "premium panel guarantee" (the U- and P-series do), so it's down to the ISO standard for pixel defects, I'm afraid.

If you sit head-on to the light patches, do they do away? If so, that'd be IPS glow rather than backlight bleed, and rather normal - if you can't see it in use, I wouldn't worry.

Have a look at the IPS glow in these review shots (search for "IPS-glow"):

I have a U2414H which, from my understanding, is a older model. I have 100% no blacklight bleed on mine, along side no dead pixels. Contact the retailer you bought it from (or even dell), because you might be able to RMA your monitor.

Other than return it and try again there isn't much you can do about that. If you want a guarantee of quality (from Dell at least) you have to buy a U series monitor. Those ones are factory calibrated, come with a certificate, and have a robust RMA process for things like stuck pixels (1), dead pixels (5) and so on.

The problem is that I bought this monitor from Amazon using a freight forwarder. Returning this monitor to Amazon is out of the question.
I can try to RMA this monitor but according to Dell's website they honor the warranty only if the monitor has more than 6 dead pixels. But what about the backlight bleed? Is it a valid reason to request a replacement or is it acceptable and usable?
BTW, Is the problematic pixel dead of stuck?

If the Pixel displays any constant unchanging color (other than black) it is stuck. If it shows nothing but black it is dead.

Really hard to say on that black light bleed. I'm not sure what Dell considers a defect or normal. If it makes a visible difference when an image is displayed than that probably counts as a defect you can get RMA.
