Hey guys, so I had windows 10 32bit, I upgraded it to 64bit and now my computer is doing some crazy stuff. Slow boot up, freezing, crashes, and with gameplay its just horrible. Now I know for sure my cpu can handle 64bit so what is going on? its driving me crazy ha.

little background on my computer
CPU- AMD Athlon II X2 250 3.00 GHz
RAM- 4GB installed
Windows 10 pro 64 bit, x64- bases cpu
GPU- GeForce GT 620 (nohing fancy)
500gb SSD

You cant go through an upgrade process to move from 32 to 64 bit.. so I presume you mean you did a clean install of Win 10 64bit?
And win 10 found 64 bit drivers for everything? or did you have any driver issues you had to solve manually? You should have no issues with your CPU with 64 bit.
Cheers

yes sorru I forgot to mention I did a clean install, but I'm not sure. I'm actually manually checking everything to see if has 64bit drivers. The thought to check for that popped into my head like five min ago so I was looking for 64bit updates.

Ok so I went trough and checked to see if anything needed updating. Only found two things need updated. Updated them, restarted my pc and I'm still having issues. It's slow, laggy, and some programs freeze my computer up so bad I have to restart it. It do this until I upgraded it to 64bit. The next thing I'm going to try is to completely restart my system like a system restore but keep all my files and stuff. Not sure what that's called.
