Im working on an Alienware laptop and im getting a missing driver Location: on Microsoft ACPI-Compliant system. Tells me there is no compatible drivers for this device. The drivers for this device are not installed (Code 28). Could this be caused by putting a new operating system on it (windows 10) has anyone experienced this problem please.

Hi,

You may need to get its hardware Id in order for us to check what that missing driver is for.
- Open Device Manager then right click on the driver that needs the driver.
- Select Properties, once opened click on Details tab.
- Under Property select Hardware IDs from the drop down list.
- It normally look like this:
PCI\VEN_1106&DEV_3106&SUBSYS_14051186&REV_8B

Please paste it here in this thread so we can check for its driver. :) Do also try going into Dell's Support site for any driver related to that device.
