Connected a second monitor

Connected a second monitor and saw a ~30fps drop so I disconnected the monitor and opted for just the one but the fps doesn't go back to what it was before I added the second monitor?

are both of them connected to graphics card or one to gpu and one to motherboard?

I still have the fps drop with only one monitor connected though

Hmm, have you restarted your computer since this happened?

yeah just updating Windows now to see if that does anything
