Intel Pentium G3258 Anniversary Processor vs AMD FX-4300 Processor

Opinions on which one is better for gaming? Thanks!

The G3258 with a bit of overclocking will probably edge out over the FX in todays games.

Neither are great options.
The G3258 will struggle with its 2 cores, but the 4300 is overall weak.
The Pentium does have a much better upgrade path, so out of the two that would be my choice.
However, I recommend a skylake i3.
