.Mouse lights up, but isn't working. (Error 43)

Hello.
Ever since I got a new laptop my mouse isn't working. On my old laptop that had Windows 7 it was working. The new one has Windows 10. If I plug in the mouse it says "USB Device not Recognized", but the mouse lights up and all the extra buttons that control the lights work, I just can't use it in the computer. Also in Device Manager it says "Device Descriptor Request Failed Error 43". I have searched all over Google but none of the solutions wprk.

Maybe someone here could help me, I would be very thankful

What make and model mouse?

What specific solutions did you try?

Did you go to the manufacturer's website direct and download the appropriate Windows 10 driver?

Does the mouse still work on the old laptop?

It's a Roccat Kova+. The manufacturer doesn't seem to have a Windows 10 driver, but I have downloaded the latest available driver for Windows 7.
It works on the old laptop, and I also tried it on another computer and it also worked on that.

Which driver - 32 bit or 64 bit?

Yeah I came across that aswell, none of the solutions worked.

Almost defaults to a Windows 10 issue but I tend to take that path only as a last resort.

Sort of out of ideas at the moment. Will mull it over a bit.

And/or someone else may offer additional ideas.

Now I tried it again on one of the computers which it was working on, but it doesn't work on that one anymore aswell. I also had ćonnection problem when I got it but not like this, I guess something is broken inside the mouse or wires..

Most people would just get a new mouse at that stage, good you managed to fix yours. I expect op got a new one at this point as well.
